I’ve worn the full TA set for as long as I can remember, and with the introduction of today’s new gem store armor I feel like I love the set even more totally awesome!

The fact that you can’t dye the green parts and that the pauldrons clip through your chest armor together with the outrageous price of 400 (!) gems each doesn’t disturb you?

Don’t get me wrong, i bought the phalanx set because it was nicely done but
incomplete sets, meaning single pieces like those, should be obtainable through gameplay and the LS instead of the cash shop. They can sell complete sets and town clothes; that’s all fine but this goes too far.

I’m glad you’re happy with the way you look, so don’t take this to heart, but I find both the items and the combined armor set you’ve chosen hideous and they’re totally not worth the price tag (particularly considering the lack of proper dye control).

No offense taken, I will admit I don’t like the glow all that much. I wish I could turn it off

doesn’t look bad at all, I’d change the dye set though, maybe change red for some blue/green.

oh! and yes I do think this is overpriced… but if they had a full set at the usual price and each individual piece is also being sold like this it would be another story

I just dropped $20 on one of the new sets and one of the old sets and put something fun together with a piece from each and some odds and ends.

it looks good man, everyone has their own thing. All of my characters except one wear abyss and illumination only. Necro is full Caustic

Well. I like them. I bought one of each and gave them to my Necro. With her Karka shell backpiece and Demon Masque and think they go well together.

I like them also. They really suit the look I’m going for on a new Sylvari character I recently made.

They look really unique! Not at all like the Hellfire stuff with a different color….not….at….all. Also really cool how the light, med, and heavy all look the same. That’s something that will definitely give everyone their own look, for sure. Who does not like green? NOBODY. Everyone loves green and Anet knows that, that’s why you cant dye them….because you love greeeeeen!

Cant wait to stand out from everyone else! Now, all you need is a Legendary GS, since those are super duper rare as well, and you will have the most unique look ever!

Cant roll my eyes enough at people not only paying rl money for these, but thanking Anet as well. My mind is boggled.
