I’d like to thank the staff behind guild wars 2 that includeds forums servers etc.

sure the game has its annoying bugs that makes us wanna rip other players apart and go on a rampage but that still doesnt take from the game it is fun and addictive and has a unique feel i cant go back to playing the other mediocre MMOs i used to (believe me i tried for old times sake and quitted at 10 minutes of gameplay)

people dont seem to appreciate the hard work the team is putting up for us Daily updates is something i hadn’t seen in other MMOs specially without interrupting gameplay all you require is a quick restart and bam your new build is done,no more 3 hours downtime on the game for a 1 mb download. Forum moderators also put up with all our whining and read through most threads that has a Huge value, another thing is that other games wouldnt announce incoming changes until they was done sometimes your game was just restarted and you were left puzzled wondering if it was an error in your client.

sure the game seems to lack content at times but the game barely came out of beta and already added some content plus adding content without fixing the current bugs would mean any new added content would probably end up broken.

so i give a big Thank You and thumbs up to the game team for their non stop hard work.

The haters should try something like Tera, a game that got one dungeon and had no PvP for 4 months after release, lol.

Not to mention the entire game is RNG based on RNG based on RNG based on RNG, with a little grind based on RNG!

Thank you for GW2, it is truly a breath of fresh air.

Uh… coming from a beta player and someone that started playing at headstart: there were way more than one dungeon at launch. There was PvP (as well as open world Guild vs Guild) and it should have been a game that focused on it’s open world PvP more than the kittenty instanced PvP that was added later on. I personally liked TERA in general, but other than combat and a nice looking world, it lacked variety (they really needed other things to do in game like fishing or something…).

Gw2 has what TERA did not: variety. There is more to do than just combat, and I hope they continue to expand on this fact.

Anet has done a good job so far, it’s been a bit of a bumpy ride since launch, but it seems they are starting to get a handle on things and the ride is smoothing out (although there was a bit of a pothole with the whole fotm gear tier stuff…).

Thank you so much for posting this, as a beginner game developer I know the pain of people amplifying the problems of the game and ranting on how much it sucks. I would hate to be called “a greedy slimeball” like I’ve seen someone call them. People have the wrong idea that encouraging customers to buy things, in this case, gems, and the game itself, is greedy. I can tell you that creating and improving a game is not done only for personal benefit and gain, but because it’s thrilling to see people love and play the game. Some act as if ANet does not pay enough heed to the players. Why on earth would this be the case? They want to improve the game so that people have a great time playing, more people want to play and to gain profit (which again is not a bad thing). If nobody wanted gain and success, where would we be?
Thank you ANet for your awesomeness and care for the players! If it wasn’t for you, there would be no Guild Wars 2. The hard work that goes into game development is never appreciated nearly as much as it should be.

I’m sorry, did you just thank them for the stealth nerfs?

Not sure if I’m shocked or horrified… Most likely both!

We’ll stop to sleep when the game is the best possible game we think it can be.
We’ve been awake since March 2007! Please help!

Not talking about launch, they have added one dungeon in over a year that the game has been live, and made a copy of another.
