I love GW2 so much!
I enjoy the Story Missions!
I enjoy the Events!
I enjoy the Exploration!
I enjoy the Jumping Puzzles!
I enjoy the Combat!
I enjoy the Voice Acting!
I enjoy the Cutscense!
I enjoy the PvP!

Honestly I love it so much!
GW2 makes other MMOs a chore to play.
GW2 makes other MMOs boring to play.
GW2 makes other MMOs feel cheap.

ArenaNet I ask you this:
Please make MORE!
MORE STORY!
MORE JUMPING PUZZLE!
MORE EVERYTHING!

Only Issue I have is there never seems to be enough! =(
Forget playing other MMOs… they are boring grind fest compared to the adventures of Guild Wars 2 in the world of Tyria!

It would be impossible for me to say I don’t love gw2 as I’ve put more hours into it than every other game I’ve played combined.
My favourite (at the moment) part of the game is WvW, mainly the zerg fights. Despite what people qq about so much, it isn’t just about rushing your foe and winning with higher numbers. Case in point, the fight last night in which we wiped a map semi organised possible map queue with 35 players because of superior tactics and organisation.

Surrender and serve me in life, or die and slave for me in death.

My favourite game of all time.

And also the game that had a large part in leading to my eventual wedding.

I think ArenaNet should add purchasable Mastery points for both core and HoT via the gemstore. wink wink

Excelsior.

The German voice acting is indeed one of the best I have ever heard. It’s the only game right now I play in German because I really do not miss something; at least the male Asura PC has a great voice (and in HoT, he has a deeper voice; you can really hear the years in his voice^^). He has so many facettes and is always so correct and polite, except when drunk (Orders of the Whispers mission….^^) or angry.

The voice actors used are well-known (German) TV voice actors, some are kinda often heard (e.g. Mr. Petruo or whatever his name was, lending his voice to Biff Tannen from Back To The Future and Plankton in Spongebob – or Trahearne. AFAIK it’s father and son, not sure who actually does the speaking).

This cost a lot. Of course they could have get some random people in front of a mic and let them talk some lines, but the quality is very high. I’ve tried the French one (6 GByte of voice packs, this already speaks volumes!) and I could not stand it that much, found it more hilarious. But oh well…

What I like about GW2 are the Asura. You either have the MATTEL-HASBRO fraction of pseudo-cute furballs or the ugly, Blizzard-games ones (Gnomes and Dwarves). I like that they are humanoid but have distinctive details on their body stature. I like that they are not kicked around like other diminutive races (looking to you, FF14!) but actually have their part and power amongst other, taller races.

(I also like Charr a bit…)

And this game is not as politically correct as all the “Actually, we are all happy and everything’s fine and dandy” nonsense games out there. War and fights everywhere when you leave your town and 5 minutes later you sit down with your photoshopped cardobard cutout character around and talk to a flying furball (I am looking again to you, FF14!). I like that this game features kids and elderly people, something games are lacking today, e.g. FF14, GTAV, Thief, …

I think I could go on and on, but I have praised this game more than enough and will do so when needed; I’ve gone trough a lot of crappy games in the past years and never felt well within a franchise, except for this one. I am too late for GW1 but as the Asura were not playable back then and they are the reason why I am here in the first place, I do not mind. If there is a GW3, I will be there!

Zedexx, sly Asura Thief/Assassin
and politically highly incorrect. (#Asuracist)
“We [Asura] are the concentrated magnificence!”

Such fanboy ahah. The voice acting?really?

Yes I love the voice acting.
I truly love the actors and actress voices and performance!
Do you know ANY MMORPG with GW2 quality in voice performance? I’d like to know. Name me one…

And yes. I am a GW2 fan and darn proud of it! ArenaNet earned my respect unlike other MMO companies they disappoint me.

Secret World has VA far and above anything GW2 has, despite so e improvements recently.. But they do blow most of their budget on it, so hardly surprising. GW2 has many flaws, but I agree with it being the best on the market…or at least my favourite and most played. And it had some stiff competition in Anarchy Online and Lotro to dislodge ftom my pov.

I personally don’t like the voice acting for secret world…
I also hate the setting.
I still think gw2 voice over is better for me anyways

Nobody will remember any of that in 10 years time. The only thing they will remember is WvW. Calling it now.

Nobody at Anet loves WvW like Grouch loved PvP. That’s what we need, a WvW Grouch, but taller.

I love it the way it is now. My guild and I left a couple of years ago because doing hearts just wasn’t our idea of fun after a while. We recently decided to come back to see what it was like not and we love it! HoT is the best pve in any game we have ever played by far. Lots of action, the world interconnects and what you do can influence the rest. Gliding!!! We also enjoy the pvp and wvw. I love the gem store……way too much.

I enjoy the Jumping Puzzles!

There are a couple of those I despise with every fiber of my being. But I don’t put very much time into some aspects of the game because time is a bit limited for me. So when I am asked to come along on the more difficult JPs I totally fret, haha.

This! I’ve had countless palm-sweating, adrenaline-rushing insane zerg battles that often have concluded in results no one thought could happen. Of course, roaming is also fun.

I wish they had more than 1 JP per map, and it didn’t have to be extremely difficult… just silly, maybe long, and fun to play. I love Sharkmaw Caverns, it’s ellusive.

There are four jumping puzzles in Caledon Forest, three in Lion’s Arch and three in Diessa Plateau. Two in Southsun. Of course some maps don’t have one at all, but there isn’t just one per map.

Heh WvW is the one game area I cannot get into. I’m farming memories of battle for legendary crafting, but I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone could love this game mode so much. When I first heard about it, it sounded really interesting in terms of the large scale player-driven efforts. Having run it up to rank 15, I’ve found it to be utterly bipolar (usually leaning towards the frustrating pole), and I’ve yet to see any of these interesting pitched battles you speak of. Not doubting they exist, but I must not be on at the right times to ever see them.

Other than WvW, I’ve loved everything in the game I’ve touched, including sPvP. Ranked was a bit frustrating last season, but I’m still fairly new and have to wean myself off the metas.

There are two in Auric Basin and two in Tangled Depths. More if you count all the things that require jumping and have chests at the top, but don’t have achievements attached to them.
