I love GW2!
Well good for ya!
I’m a fan of the game as well. It needs improvements, and if I seem grumpy at points, it’s because: 1) the devs are missing out on so much potential, 2) the community is so toxic, like more than Scarlet’s minions. ;_;
Still, I love the fluid combat, the simple yet (mostly) potent character options, the art style (in most cases), and the approachable nature of the game.

How can you possible say it’s immersive if, when you delete a piece of armor it says – skin unlocked?
Updated every Monday
I love the game and that’s why I still play it ( although rarely now that I have spent 2 years here ). Nevertheless, it needs acknowledging that the game lacks fresh, permanent content and I believe that, now that we have received a feature pack, we ought to get an expansion pack ( or the equivalent thereof ) as an update. No more trashy LS updates. Hopefully.
Cheers

^ Yeah, I’ve been lamenting this for a while. I’d forgive the whole “Treesus stole my story” if they’d add some permanent content to the end of my Personal Story. I loved the first part of it, since it focused on my decisions, but then it just got so meaningless.

Been playing since just a couple months after release, and I still find that I immensely enjoy this game. Sure, there are some elements that need to be tweaked/adjusted…..but I still get a ton of fun out of this game.
Mmo players with a screw loose vs mmo players with two screws loose. All very important stuff.

Well, for light and medium clothes it easy (for me). My Mesmer is a tailor and my thief is a leatherworker. When I destroy a piece of armor a the pattern is sent by a bird to them and they make a copy for all their sisters and put it in the wardrobe.
I love GW2, beautiful landscapes, soundtracks, …
I can stay for hours in Queensdale helping Diah, killing drakes, clean the pumping station, …

It’s a joint service provided by the Black Lion Company and the Arch Exchange.
The Arch exchange stores the appearances, and Evon charges you for the ability to apply them.
Comin’ back to give the Living Story a bit of love!
The living story was what first got me excited about the concept of GW2 back when it was still in production. Up until that point I had a lot of doubts, but LS turned me around. I loooove a world that goes on without me. I can’t go back and redo my honeymoon, and I can’t go back and redo the discovery of Southsun. That’s a big part of the immersion for me. I was there and it meant something. Yay Living Story, keep it up!
Op, you’re going to attract sharks.

That song/video is what initially caught my attention about this game. I figured, if a game had this good of a soundtrack, it must be worth checking out in more detail. After years of WoW and SWTOR, I can honestly say that this is the best MMO I’ve played so far. The only aspect I don’t like is the lacking of story. I give BioWare some credit there with SWTOR that even though most of the game was boring, the character progression story was epic.

Can they swim to Ohio? :P

Maybe my perspective is a bit warped because I don’t get much time to play so it takes me a very long time to complete the personal stories, but I enjoyed them all very much and am looking forward to the potential of further PSs in the future! And yes, the music is fantastic. Initially I felt they were stealing too many tracks from the original Guild Wars, but they have since added much music to the game. The themes are beautiful!
