Guild Wars 2

I’ve been playing since launch, and yet one thing I absolutely love about gw2 is how i’m still finding places like this (see attachment). I was just doing some crafting in the Grove and started running around. Next thing you know i’m here. The photo doesn’t really do it justice.

Anyone else find they still have these moments? Next time you do, share some screenshots. I’d love to see them (and go on a hunt for them).

That is an amazing looking spot. Guildwars has some of the best sceneries.

I had the same reaction when i found little progeny hiding bunch of rabbits used for experiments and little charr cub hiding his strawberry patch

Remember that place from a year ago, when my Guild organized some give aways, and hide and seek games….man do i miss those people ^^ they are semi-retired now

I suspect some serious artists are working behind the game…

Both games (GW1 and GW2) are chock full of scenery. It’s just one of the great many reasons why I love the franchise.

I agree. It seems the environmental artists are the only people who haven’t lost all their skills between games.

I love all the details that have gone in to every map.

Even a map like DR has amazing stuff that is often overlooked, for example when I asked my guildies about the planetarium in DR, most didn’t know what the heck I was talking about.
