Glad to see you’re enjoying the game.
You know, get a lot of the complaints…I really do. I just feel that sometimes, people see the details and miss the big picture. Overall, the game is a good game. Some individual decisions made by Anet, and particularly how those decisions were communicated, have caused a quite a stir on the forums.
But I’m pretty sure the loudest voices here are no longer the majority here. Keep enjoying the game. For some of us, it’s the only MMORPG worth playing.

I’ve been playing for less than a month and this game has by a great deal surpassed my expectations and has quickly made it’s way to being one of my favorite games. There are always people online no matter what time I log in, there’s a never-ending amount of content to explore, the community rarely squabbles and even when it does it’s not often it lasts for more than a few minutes, leveling is fun, post 80 is fun, it doesn’t matter what you’re doing really the game is just 100% enjoyable. I’m the sort of person who becomes very attached to something when I start liking it. I don’t phase in to something and phase out a few weeks later. If I like it I’ll get to know everything about it, with people places and video games. And I can tell this will be one of those games I’ll end up playing until I know as much as it’s possible to know.
Thank you, Anet. For this awesome game I can waste my life in. You give us hermits a reason to live.

People in this game are amazing, it should be their day jobs, they really keep the game alive. Sure skill lag, wvw ques get annoying, but usually I have never waited over an hour for a que, In the mean time, I dye myself pink or orange, fight off some monsters , kill some bosses, or use the LFG to find a group.
Besides the “there”/“your” mistake in this chestfelt affection letter to an inanimate object, I couldn’t help but notice you had a list of things that you do while in the WvW queue.

I don’t really have ANY problems with Guild Wars 2.
I love roaming.
I love WvW
I love PvE
I love that Staff runs with Zergs.
I love Zergs.
I love the Commanders
I love Guardian of Rall
I love Brutus
I love Esamo

Gold is easy to get, new content all the time, and I’m glad an MMO I chose to invest in has turned out to be an amazing game, with PEOPLE actually playing, and it seems like every time I log on, more people have decided to buy and join in on the game. Anet works there butts off to keep this game happy for thousands of people, you can go from a zerg of 100 in WvW to a zerg of 100 in PvE at 5pm, or 5am, its 24/7 ALIVE!
If you don’t like Zergs, then start a Havok group and destroy stuff, if your not happy, command yourself, lead yourself, start your own group, your own guild!
and if you PvE, use Gw2Stuff.com or in game LFG, find the Blue Commander tag and zerg along!! or spend hours looking at skins you can work for.

Wait until you have to grind out ascended weapons and armor for your WvW activities once you become tired of getting smoked by people in a full set. Then the “fun” will really begin!

I love it too. It is the best game I have ever played and the people in it are mostly pretty amazing.
I don’t give two hoots about ascended weapons or armour so grinding for them is not going to spoil my pleasure in this game.
I used to think the same as the OP but I don’t like the direction Anet has taken with the game in the last few months so I quit. There is no denying it, GW2 is a great game, it just isn’t fun for me anymore with all the time gating, class imbalance, awful WvW server imbalance (WvW seasons isn’t going to change that), bi-weekly AP grind through LS. I love the new Teq, but hate the cluster kitten that is required to assemble enough people to clear him and the waiting in Sparkfly Fen for an hour until he spawns.
Like I said, the game is great , but it’s all the little things that annoy and add up that are causing people to QQ. I wish that Anet spent less time adding new buggy content and fix the buggy content we already have. There are some annoying bugs that have been there as far back as November (I’m sure some go back since launch).
Be careful what you wish for, Anet might just give it to you “HoT”

Great game : ).I agree with you,game is vary addictive but sure can have more improvements such as bugs fix and more content,but game is kinda new….we will see more end game content for sure.
For me its the best game I ever played and I love it also.
It was bad in some times and painful, but over all it is still the greatest game I saw in many years of playing.
