In all seriousness, I read an article anet is aware this is an issue and the end of living story is supposed to involve our character much more.

Well that’s not true. Killing zhaitan was at least worth like 30silver coins, I think…. but if you want vet support better step in line because there are several thousands of those “commanders” including me. Pretty much your whole server is swarming with them and everytime you kill someone in WvW: that was a zhaitan killing war hero.
If you look closely, within the personal story your tag shows up on the minimap. You don’t need to see it yourself. Outside you are not commanding the pact troops, ergo the tag is unavailable.

“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”

It would be great if the personal story was more, well, personal. I really hope for some changes in the future.

This game suppose to be role playing and character development but it feels like the personal story was all just dream. None of it really happen.
Honestly, I would be much happier with “Everything regarding the Pact, and the terribly out of place technology was really a dream.” I mean, the Pact has had megalazers and helecopters for over a year now, and despite all of the attacks no one from Lion’s Arch decided that this might be a good thing to have? This goes far beyond what a willing suspense of disbelief can manage….
I earn the title, I deserve the tag.
