I'm excited. Here's why.
yay! awesome post.
Good stuff; thanks for linking.
Cool but I read it as nothing more then a PR piece.
Unless that content update in November is…
A complete skill overhaul allowing weapon skills to be slotted, more utilities being added, named bosses in the overworld and reinstitution of elite skill capping in the overworld..
or
Instancing mechanic for each map that helps players play together in groups for area story missions more than the current zergfest, a la carte scavenger hunt content allows..
I really don’t care and it’s just more PR.
When a company posts a story to their “news” section of their website, it IS a PR piece. That’s what it’s for.
This post could have been summed up by saying:
" We have people working on the game still".
Not much substance there, but I am still looking forward to seeing what their live teams come up with
It is PR sure, but at least now, we all know that ANet is trying to improve the game. It is better than they keep in silence, or abandon us with the current status of the game.
So Thank you for let’s us know

Dude …. why are you still here. clearly this isnt a game you want to play. It has its problems but over all me and many othere’s like how the game is built
and im looking forword to events and updaits
If they post something like that, its PR spin. If they don’t, people will believe ANET has abandoned the game and its players. Kittened if you do, kittened if you don’t. :P
Kittens everywhere.

This in a nutshell.
The Holidays & Events team already failed massively. They didn’t get me my grog for TLAPD!
who actually wants that? Do we really want to be playing those same game mechanics for
another 5 or 10 years? -Mike O’Brien
