So I haven’t used a Mystic Coin since I’ve been playing. Heard they were for legendaries but figured that I can’t play enough to get one so that doesn’t matter.

Just sold all of mine on TP for gold (about 148 coins)

It turns out according to Wooden Potatoes most recent video that that was a really bad idea.

So I’m sad now.

I think you’re probably referring to the video where he mentions needing a single coin for the weaver weapon collection correct? If you don’t specify the thread will likely derail in into kittening about more mystic coin sinks, just fyi.

If you go to the wiki (google mystic coin) you’ll see that mystic coins are used for a whole bunch of stuff. And, generally speaking, for items in inventory I maintain an inventory and periodically sell off 50 or 100. Because, you just never know…

If you’re only referring to the need to chuck a Mystic Coin in a well for the collection achievements please remember that, providing you continue to accept log-in rewards, gaining enough Mystic Coins for bits and pieces of collection achievements should be no issue.

You still have well over a month to save up more Mystic Coins.

You should not see WP’s videos.

You need 1 coin per collection. That means you only will need 9 coins total assuming you intend to do the ascended weapon collection for all of the new specializations. If you just log in every day until expansion day you will easily earn more than 9 mystic coins from daily log ins.

Also any mystic forge daily rewards you with 1 coin too.
