Seriously, events have to scale in a different way with player numbers. Right now in Orr events, I’m more preoccupied about tagging mobs with AoE attacks than I am about saving the outpost.

People often shoot their AoE attacks on the ground even when there are no mobs present, just to anticipate the next wave before others. It becomes a huge skill spam fest. Oftentimes, mobs don’t get rendered until they are almost dead. I tested throwing the poison AoE on the ground where waves came, and noticed I’d get XP credit from mobs that I never once saw on my screen until they were a body on the ground.

The events seem to revolve around the urge of “tag as many mobs as you can to maximize loot”, which makes it quite unlikable.

Very well said Saga…

That is exactly what i have noticed too, every event i go too at every outpost or escort mission its a spam an AOE spell fest.

Im lucky with all that Aoe going on if i hit maybe one or two mobs at the most.

I notice too on my server that most people are staying at mostly penitent path and doing the event one end of the tunnel and then running to the other end and doing that before then again running back to the first camp again. {and seem to do that all day}
So subsequently other events in Orr the temple ones never realy have enough people to complete so are always contested so very difficult to do.

I have become quite unhappy with my time in Orr now and have gone back to the other lower level maps {even though i completed all of them} just looking around and finding things to do, which suprisingly there are still things to look at and do even after you have completed the map.
