and random farms.

I know this is probably beating a dead horse but come on.
I couldn’t wait to try new builds, fail and loose my 1p and try again.
The intensity of two/three man farms was amazing. Little things like that made the game even sweeter.

I miss it and I miss the social aspect of completing something with a couple strangers.

Maybe it was my age, but I miss the days where I logged into GW and was always eager to play.

Plenty of people still seem to play GW1. If you want your fix its still there.

You’re not showing your age at all. I miss that kind of thing too, I also miss actually being rewarded for my time doing those things instead of worrying about if I might get a bug and get a grey or a giant pile of skulls for my troubles because everything in the zone just happens to all be classified as the same mob type. Risen. sigh

You know it is going to be a GW1 dream fest repeating the same things over and over. Always have Barbra Streisand and that horrible song floating in my head every time I read a thread like this.
I would not miss having that tune in my head at all.

The way I see it you have 2 options:

1) Go back to GW1. There are still large numbers of people there (mainly on the American districts) still endlessly speed clearing UW and FoW over and over and over again as they have been for years now.

2) Do dungeon speed clears in GW2. That seems to be the equivalent. It’s not as reliable because this game still gets balance updates which can affect speed clearing builds/groups but a lot of people do it.
