Two things first: this was raised in a thread that was correctly shut due to thread drift; this may probably be better suited to the tech forum so, if so, I apologise but it does seem to gain more traction here.

If I own HoT, how will the PoF download be handled? Will it just “append” to the existing content? To clarify, if the existing game size is 30 gig, will I only download the remaining 20 gig or will it be the whole 50 gig?

Again, I apologise if this is the wrong place to post this and am well aware it may be too early to ascertain.

If it’s like HoT’s launch, we’ll get the download piecemeal between now and launch and not all in one massive download on the 22nd – for example we’ll be getting the new elite specs, masteries, and at least some of the new maps downloaded when the beta comes along later this month.

As for the size, 50g is the total size of core game + HoT + PoF, so PoF itself is just 20G.
