If you’re like me, then you were devastated when Tybalt sacrificed himself. So on my latest run through the Battle of Claw Island, I ran back up the hill to the gate in anguish after the cutscene where the best GW2 character decides to be “noble.” During my angered jumps and attacks at the gate, I stumbled on a “revive” option! Could it be?! Then the realization hit me that the only one that stayed behind was Tybalt so it must have been!

Below is a screenshot of me rezing Tybalt from beyond the gate. I’d like to think he is alive and well, hopefully well hidden from the devs, should they discover his existence and try to take him out again ;-)

Uhh… You do realize that you just revived Tybalt inside a fortress filled with Risen, right?
Said Risen are the type to ripe a person to shreds while they’re still alive…

Tybalt could have had a painless death, as he wasn’t conscious when the Risen swarmed his body, but no~! You’ve just made it so that he’ll be fully awake as a horde of the beasts tear him to pieces!!!!

I swam back around the island, singlehandedly murdered all the risen inside the fort, then revived him. He didn’t even thank me. Ungrateful stiff.

what’s the point… you never encounter him anymore
