Since GW1 is going to be on automation soon. Does that mean they’ll focus more on GW2 if that was there distraction?

Lol they abandoned GW1 a long, long time ago. It hasn’t been their focus or a distraction in years.

Back to WoW, make GW2 fun please.

I just came back after a decently long break.

When I left I was on an American server, WvWvW battles non stop, yo ucouldn’t throw a stick without hitting a fight.

I came back….I have bee nmoved to a French server since apparently my other server got shut down (what I was told) and there is pretty much NO WvWvW going on no matter what time I attempt…

Being moved from an american server to an european one without your knowledge or consent? Not very likely. Even if indeed you would have been moved due to a server shutdown (and if such a shutdown happened, there would be a lot of people here asking about it), you would not have been moved between zones. Better check if someone else had an access to your account, because it sounds like it got compromised.

Actions, not words.
Remember, remember, 15th of November

ArenaNet unfortunately has diehard fans that will play goalie and are willing to throw money at them no matter what decisions they or their publishers make. Even with those 300+ employees, bad management can ruin any company. And what you’re seeing is the product of bad management, plain and simple.

Guild Wars surely was NOT a perfect game… It definitely improved as the years went by. But I think that Guild Wars was in better condition nine months from release than its successor.

i agree that when i look at the game and how its managed it really seems 2 different teams…

The game at launch was huge, promising, full of potential…

Any patch was a step back…..all they had to do was adding some dungeons, skins and stuff like that….

What they did?
-vertical progression
-RNG
-manipulating economy to force players into do stuff they want
-PvP “esports” attempts nobody cares of, while demolishing the rest of the game

This game at this point doesn t have a future unless they start to give PvE the importance it deserves.

PvE is dying and if PvE dies so it will PvP and www.

GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

I don’t disagree with this. I think the company is probably badly managed. That’s what happens when you leave the artists in charge. lol

I say put the original Guild Wars staff/crew back in charge, then we might start seeing good content again.

Blackgate Megaserver – [LaZy] Imperium of LaZy Nation
Mud Bone – Sylvari Ranger

Because everyone who tried it loved the original Guild Wars (coughs).

Rift, when I was there, made ZILLIONS of changes all the time. Multiple times a week. Do you have any idea how many times I logged and had to respec because they completely changed my skill and skill tree. At one point it was twice, three times a week.

They try stuff that doesn’t work and then they make more changes that don’t work and they finally may make a couple of changes that do work, but they’re not going free to play because the world is full of people playing that game.

Rift has some of the worst updates I’ve ever seen for a game. They had to do a full apology for their first big world event. As bad as the karka event was, the Rift world event was far worse.

Rift makes a lot of changes, and that’s part of the problem. They were new to the MMO space and they were trying to find their way. And in making all those changes, there was never any chance of balancing anything.

Slow, steady change is the very best way to update an MMO.

What? Class balance patches for Rift were awesome – they always acted really quickly, they were the right changes, and they generally buffed more than they nerfed. The big downside of Rift IMO was that it wasn’t very casual-friendly. Random world PVP in Rift was particularly awesome.

downed state is bad for PVP

The population is dropping fast. It is/was the devs job to retain players and bring new ones in. They should start by adding meaningful content instead of devoting everything to their rng, asian, f2p-esque cash shop.
Obviously there is much more, but tired of typing with one hand.
These are not the same GW1 devs you are looking for. /waves hand

Sry but you seems to want it to fail i am not sure if your point of view is a good one to use.
They are the same devs as GW1 but GW1 was a comply different and not an mmorpg so you would not see what realty going on with its pop. Also GW1 sold a lot of boxes because of the expansion GW2 sold a lot of boxes too but it was the game to start with.

The truth is if you looking for something to fail your going to see it even if its not failing. This is true for any game or any thing in life. To post these things on these forums beyond just randomly complaining is not helping any one nor can you get a discussion when your view point is so harden to one way.

Main : Jski Imaginary ELE (Necromancer)
Guild : OBEY (The Legacy) I call it Obay , TLC (WvW) , UNIV (other)
Server : FA
