Dear ANet, I’ve been a fan of Gw since the first month that gw1 come out. I was very excited when gw2 was released and i bought the ultimate edition too.
I actually enjoyed this game A LOT the first few months but after that I was not that sure anymore. After leveling my first pg to lvl 80 and doing some fractals/dungeons i completely lost insterest in PvE. Why? Its too easy! I dont feel any challenge while playing dungenos or fractal. Some of them can be completed in matter of minutes and a skilled player can kill bosses SOLO. Only few bosses are actually challenging.Then there is no need for defensive traits/equip in fact most of the players have a full zerk set and most of the equipent stats are useless too (like +healing +tough +vitality that nobody wants).
I was a fan of the “NO TRINITY” idea too but after a while i understood that the only consequence was that a group of players feel more like a brainless group of zergling running around instead of an organized team. Legendary crafting is a grind fest and i always hated grinding but i will overlook this becouse i cant say there arent a lot of sources of grind in the game except the one i mentioned.
So i decided to switch to PvP becouse (obviously) its harded to play vs players instead of a stupid AI. I dont play WvW becouse i havent a good equip to be competitive and i dont like to zerg. I like PvP a lot: no eqip problem, all players have the same potentiality, i always liked this idea since gw1. Then the 23Th pacth arrived. Since then the only thing i can see is: bugs, some classes (maybe is a problem of game mechanics) clearly op, leavers and afkers. I cant play 2 games in a row with a team of 5 players (my team or enemy’s team). Both unranked/ranked games. “Oh they stole Svanir, kitten u noobs” and then leaves. “Oh, they have 50 points more than us, better go afk until the end”.
I dont know why im playing anymore. Atm i think it is more exciting flipping items in the tp or messing around with a musical harp than playing the actual game
So dear Anet I have still faith in you but atm i dont think ill play the game for a while. I hope that with new patches and with Hot the game will feel more challenging/balanced so i’ll enjoy it again.

Best of luck to you and I feel your pain when it comes to PvP. This really shouldn’t happen so often in unranked/ranked arenas, but people ragequit all the time and honestly killed the sPvP game mode for me (hence why I never pvp anymore as a solo player.) Maybe they need harsher penalties for quitters.
