With the new Ascended Gear, crafting will slowly become completely invalidated beyond XP.
At the current stage in the game, you can create exotic gear through crafting that is perfectly usable as an endgame set. Now, it’s merely a stopgap to get you to a point where you can farm additional gear.
Why is it necessary to move away from an excellent mechanic that validates crafting at level cap to one that makes it utterly pointless beyond gearing alts?
