I've never been this frustrated...
It’s a little irritating, yeah, but it’s also typical of an MMO release. Give it a bit of time; today’s complaints will be tomorrow’s history.
Also, check out Hardcore Adventure Box: World 1, World 2, Lost Sessions
Main Character: Dathius Eventide | Say “hi” to the Tribulation Clouds for me. :)
Report bugged skill points. Several times if needed. Tell others to, as well.
Next time there’s a small patch, more likely than not it will be fixed.
In the bugs section of the forum there’s a whole thread dedicated to the Forging the Pact issue .. I’m one of those affected, argh!!!

I’ve been reporting and including screenshots for all of these. Of course I don’t expect an immediate fix or anything, but I though certainly some of these would have been fixed by now (the Malchor’s Leap skill point seems to have been a problem the longest).
@ Icarium
Guess you never played SWTOR;)
I’ve already reported dozens of bugs, sound graphics terrain, you name it.
I expected GW2 to be a lot more polished, but then again it is no worse on this matter than any other game that ‘s been released recently.
The situation in the higher level zones is out of control.
In most cases it’s just bugged events, which is bad but does not affect the completion of the map.
But bugged skill points…I left Sparkfly Fen because of a bugged skill point, only to find another bugged skill point in Mount Maelstrom.
And when I tried to at least do the rest of the map,and leave that for when it is fixed,I found out that there is a bug that insta kills you as soon as you try to enter the volcano.
Pure beta stuff, and I just don’t understand why they released the game like this.
lose a pip,win 2 pips,lose a pip,lose a pip…………..-
-Go go Espartz.-

not acceptable ever. I paid for a product and they should deliver period. I allready have my ticket inline for refund. Game is lame and under par for being an mmo period.

And how many hours did you play before you realized that such a huge game with so many moving parts would be impossible to fully beta test in just 6 or 7 days that the betas were up? And in their limited internal tests as well?
At a certain point in a games development you just have to release it to find all the bugs because no amount of closed/limited testing will find everything.
And did anyone hear about death knights being able to pk low level players who weren’t flagged for pvp in WoW recently? I bring that up because even games that are older and “polished” have serious bugs present in them from time to time.

Thats called buying beta testers. which basicaly i am and so are you. That comment you made is realy stupid. If i was a dev i would never release a product till its complete. There just being greedy and lazy by releasing earlie and letting the players find the bugs…..Not sure your age but back in the 80-90’s games rarely had issues because the devs did their jobs and got things done…..Sure the programing then was much smaller but the principale was there unlike it is today.

Name a pc game from the 80-90s that comes even a tiny bit close to the complexity that GW2 has. I dare you.
It’s not stupid. But hey.. you’re entitled to your opinion. I hope you get your refund.
Edit: For comparisons sake there was a bug recently in WoW that allowed death knights to go around killing low level characters who weren’t flagged for pvp repeatedly. This is in WoW, the almighty Juggernaut of mmos. Bugs happen. Get over it. That’s something I would consider far worse than being temporarily unable to complete a skill point challenge.

Name a pc game from the 80-90s that was nearly as complex as GW2 is. I dare you.
clearly you cannot read.. go take your fanboy attitude and go fly a kite.

I can read just fine thanks. The fact that you think games of such a huge difference in complexity are even comparable for what was then and what is now is just silly.
And then you seem to think Anet is just lounging around their office laughing at everyone’s frustrations at not being able to do the things they want in the game. That they haven’t been doing a pretty bang up job of fixing things for the past 3 weeks and will continue to do so in the future.
Ya darn right I’m a fan boy. I remember how GW1 was when I first started playing it and I know how it is now quite a few years later. Anet unlike a lot of other game developers have earned my trust (for now).
