ping their ascended earrings+amulets. How the hell were they able to get so much laurels on 1 character?

they ping them from the vendor. it takes 80 days to get 2 earrings and 30 days to get an amulet. the only thing they can have now is 1 amulet or 1 ring.

nope they have it equipped. my friend said it was a bug when the laurels were first introduced i think. they managed to get tons of them.

How do you ping an ascended earring if you’re in COF together in a party? (he had equipped an ascended amulet AND an earring, mind you)

Copy and paste the item code?

Wouldn’t it just show as [] or some different name if it was just a code?

nope, the code is like an in-game ’’link’’ to the item so to speak, right the correct code and the item is linked

If they actually have the items, and these items were not available via FotM, then it was an expliot. Could be your friend was mistaken also. Past actions on the karma and snowflake exploits may predict future events.
