…the game told me not to delete him.

Just got the game over the weekend sale.

Made a character, and decided that I didn’t like him very much. Want to remake him, but… when I first made the character, a box popped up and told me never to delete the first character or I’ll lose rewards/items.

I haven’t opened (as far as I know) any items from the Hero pack (the legacy armor, I guess). Is there a way to transfer the rewards/items to a new character before deleting my first one? Or am I stuck with him?

Put everything in the bank. It will be there for future characters.
only soulbound items will not be useable so don’t bother with them.
I think they are tired of support tickets about deleted items.

What are soulbound items? Is this something I need to be worried about at level 2?

Start items and level rewards are often soulbound. Not a loss at lvl two.
each item says if it is account or soulbound. If it can be sold it is neither.

Create new charater, delete old one?

I did that very early on in order to transfer servers. Just put all your rewards (mithril box, hero pack etc) in the account bank and you’re good to go
