I would give my endgame feedback but...
Agree which is why I rarely post in any game I play cause of the bad feedbacks.
Because every single critical post in this forum is highjacked by the same few posters and torn to shreds. It is ruining any decent debate.
And to make matters worse, this is a problem on almost every GW2 related website. There’s quite literally nowhere you can give constructive feedback without the white knights rolling out.
Ironically enough, people complain about ‘fanboys’ and ‘white knights’ and yet make thinly veiled passive aggressive posts. Both sides are as bad as each other in my eyes. If someone violates the terms of service, report that individual and then move on.
As for the topic at hand? Most of the threads involving feedback, constructive or otherwise revolve mostly around personal opinions. What one player may hate may really appeal to someone else and vice versa.
If you wanna give ‘feedback’ then just do it,
Who cares if a bunch of Anet fanboys jump in your thread and highjack/derail it ?, honestly, who cares, it’s your opinion, your entitled to your opinion, and they are entitled to theirs as well.
Just say what you think,
1-80 first time round it’s a fantastic game, after that it’s boring as hell.
It reminds me of SWTOR, you know that single player story game that pretended to be an MMO, but was infact just another instalment of Knights of the Old Republic dressed up as an MMO, ie a few MMO bits bolted on, (badly bolted on).
Yep, to me GW2 feels exactly the same, 1-80 it tells a nice story, and there is a ton of other people around, but there is no real reason for them to even be there tbh.
After that, its just a silly grind fest, all MMO’s are just a silly grind fest, so no shocker there really, only to be expected.
What is shocking on the other hand is just how buggy and badly put together the Game is -
Useless Skills and Traits
Vague Skill and Trait descriptions
Awkward and Clunky Combat
Bugged Events and Skill Point Quests
Eratic Camera
Boring and Ugly Armor
And last but not least, a complete ‘Zerg’ mentality brought on by the removal of the Trinity system, a trinity system that in itself was not a bad thing, it just failed because Game Devs ‘failed’ to make Tanking and Healing ‘FUN’, lol
Oooh ZERG, that reminds me, WvWvW, the one thing that I thought would be GW2’s best feature turned out to be nothing more than a Zerg fest,
There is no strategy, no tactics, no nothing, there is not even any PvP lol, it’s just endless Zerging, big groups running around, smashing gates and then killing a mini boss, lol
There you go, thats my feedback, fire away fanboys, and just see if I care.
lol
Bury my heart at Wounded Knee.

So true. I’m in the middle of leveling right now and its pretty fun. Most of the game is a total zerg fest tho. I can only imagine the zerging that goes on at lvl 80.
I think I’ll just end up treating the game like a single player game. Play till 80. Then if I get bored just move on to another game. Come back every once in a while and see if anything interesting was added. Still pretty fun game for what it is tho.
These forums are awful.
It’s a shame.
Post something good – The people against it jump you.
Post something bad – The people for it jump you.
Post something constructive – Your post is ignored.
Yo, still gonna get flamed….its the nature of the fanboi.
U are free to give ur freeback
No1 is stoping u
Ur message shall be read even if no1 agree with u
If ur message is well behaved , avoiding game bashing , there would be 1-2 ppl that will try to give their well behaved opinion too
If u try to be a total prick , ur post will attract more pricks , locking ur thread at the end
And trust me , this forums is heaven on eartch compared to an 9 million sub game :P :P

Coming from people who can’t use anything other than fanboi/fanboy.
You guys are too hip for me.

Everyone has an opinion. And this game isn’t perfect which is why the developers continue to work on improving it. Providing feedback helps the game. But not everyone is going to agree with everything you have to say because everyone’s experience isn’t going to be the same.
For example: I just hit level 80 on my character. So I travel up north to one of the few map areas that I haven’t been to in my 24 days of playing (the wintery 70-80 zone). I’m looking around and scramble up to the top of the vista. As I’m viewing the scene from my Vista, a huge dragon flies through it… while I’m watching it. I didn’t even know there was a dragon in this zone. Moments later I’m killing it along with everyone else. Some people would say OMG zerg group, no fun. Me, I think it was fun and exciting. It is one of the most memorable things that’s happened while I’ve been playing. One of those things that make you say “Oh wow!”
Just remember when you do provide your feedback, make sure it’s constructive. Saying, I don’t like “insert whatever here” doesn’t help. Explaining what the problem is, or what you feel is lacking or what could be changed to make the game better, helps. They might not incorporate everything you suggest, but they do listen.

The people who enjoy the game are playing it not complaining on the forums.

Thats what i did. There is no endgame and no reason to play after 80. Shelf it and move on. I dont understand why everything is so unrewarding in this game. I thought i accidently clicked on my diablo 3 start button.
Needs bosses in the ring of fire that auto group large amounts of people, drop legendaries, and takes a good 25 people to take down.
One of them possibly can be triggered by an admin and be controlled by a person from arenanet.
However, just being very eventful and persistantly spawning veyr hard bosses would attract a ton of players that are level 80 to the ring of fire (small location lots of level 80 events that all deal with very hard bosses).
This is what 80 is.. Get 400 in your profession if you haven’t yet..
SPvP, WvWvW
or, unlock all the trophies/achievements in the game, which hold no real significance.

^This. Though I’m surprised you got to 80 and started feeling like that then. I feel exactly like this and I’m not even 40.
Well, I hit level 80 on my first guy. I loved the levelling experience immensely, it was an incredible amount of fun. It was immersive, interesting and well worth the money I have spent.
Now that I have hit 80, I am finding the game a bit less fun. It’s not terrible for me, just not very satisfying. I really would like to give Anet some feedback on why I am personally not enjoying this part of the game as much as the levelling.
I’d like to give it in a constructive way, sharing my positive experiences and my negative ones. I know that this is EXACTLY the point and purpose of forums – to give feedback, share views and make suggestions – which helps Anet get an accurate picture of how the customers are finding the game. I know this is what Anet want.
I’d like to do all that, but I can’t
Why?
Because every single critical post in this forum is highjacked by the same few posters and torn to shreds. It is ruining any decent debate.
I have a read through of the code of conduct and it does say
•Avoid frivolous and duplicate postings.
but there is a small core of people laboring pretty much the same point over and over again in almost every post that dares to suggest something they don’t agree with.
I really enjoyed giving feedback in the beta, and I would really enjoy giving feedback now but at the moment the forums are too intimidating and quite frankly I’d rather go bare knuckle against Tequatl.
lol my feelings are the opposite..i stoped enjoying leveling around lvl 40..currently 60 on my highest lvl toon since i got the game.
Things are boring..same quests everykittenzone. Gather, defend, kill…thats realy all the quests are in a nutshell. currently having a bugged class quest is so much fun…not realy.
Ontop of that toon skills are solely based on weapon in hand for skills..bad idea imo. Gives me that lame typical mmo feeling..pound keys 1-5 and rotate……why i stoped playing wow years ago.
Ontop of that toon skills are solely based on weapon in hand for skills..bad idea imo.
Ever since my first time logging in I always thought there should be a few skills to choose from per slot, per weapon, this lets you make actual builds, instead of what we currently have, right now we aren’t really making builds. We are just forming our trait lines and selecting two or three skills that you could do without.
