I would love to do your dungeons guys
No matter how many people are spamming LFG in LA, tons of people are using the external website. The stats are right on the site.
I agree a tool should be here already, but not because I’d use it. I get 90% of my groups from my guild.
But don’t underestimate the number of people using gw2lfg.com
Anet doesn’t want you to use a third party website. I find that highly irrelevant though. The thing is there’s nothing against the rules using it and it solves problems.
You put together a group yourself, doing the dungeon your way and you’d probably get a lot of responses.
I respect your steadfast refusal to use the external website. The dungeons are not going anywhere they will still be around when the lfg tool finally comes in. Im expecting it to be better than the external website and to somehow enable players who are not actively looking for a group at the moment to see an lfg, think it sounds like fun, and then join, leaving the farmers to themselves to farm. I watched one episode of Survivor. One too many! Reality tv is a plague! Imagine a reality mmo LoL. Ya so much fun it would be to come home from work, log into my character and then go back to work. Yippee!
I use the external website but have high hopes that the anet lfg tool will kick kitten. Hopes are based on the super fun box which was pretty super amazing. Access to super fun box should be a gem store item btw like the box o fun.
If the long-awaited in-game lfg tool does not let players specify their specific requirements (e.g., berserker, or class, or whatever), there will either be a massive uproar or many people will ignore it and still use the 3rd party site. No matter what ANet does with the promised in-game tool, some folks are going to be dissatisfied. I’ll make the popcorn.

I hope they don’t let people specify anything. Normal player will use the ingame one while the “elitists” will still use the external one (which will be interesting to see… imagine hard to fill parties).

Do you want butter with that?

Not really people can use both. The external one for specific requirements and the internal one for LFG non farm COF P1, SE, HOTW, TA, AC, CM/ dungeon of the month. Just specify which path you want to take.
