A new trademark registered around Guild Wars 2 by NcSoft as of today.
Before that I’ve made my arguments elsewhere, but they’re pretty much the same arguments made by columnists for Massively and MMRPG.com

Marketing is a need in any company, and Colin has excelled at this in many previous interviews since game’s launch. Though I agree they’ll release new information about game’s future yeah.
See, I’m not being pessimistic. I’m just warning people to chill out because if ANet doesn’t deliver what most are expecting players will get frustrated again. We’ve seen expansion talks/rumors a billion times now.
You were claiming that the only thing that hints about an expansion is the prediction, which is quite clearly not the case. Which was the whole point of my post.
Your explanations of the points doesn’t really remove their hinting at a potential expansion.

While it had Asian players, it didn’t have the extensive recoding that GW2 needed into order to ‘officially’ launch, including the acquisition of a Chinese publisher. There is a heck of a lot more to GW2.

While what you said is not false…. you are beating around the bush here…
Guild Wars + EotN = Gw2 in map size comparison.
What about Factions?
What about Nightfall?
In the same amount of time we saw the size of Guild Wars triple, we have only gotten 3 new maps for Gw2.
We don’t have new dungeons, we don’t have a FoW/UW or Urgoz/Deep.
We don’t have HoH or GvG
We don’t have guild halls.
We have a small fraction of the skills and build diversity available.
In Gw2, after 3 years each profession got one new heal skill…. and toxin spray.
This is just of the top of my head…
The list goes on and on.
You are nuts if you think you can compare 3 expansions in 2 years to what we are currently getting through Living Story.
I don’t know, an incredible number of posts on forums that the person will hold their breath until they turn blue unless x is done. People are good at holding their breath on forums it seems.
