It’s truly a nice outfit, but I have to voice that I find the helmet very ugly. I’d much rather use my HoM hard-earned Icecrown or the blue-eyes fromt Glint’s Gaze as they give a much better icy feel.
I take it there is no update yet on using skins combined with outfits? This was never an issue in GW1, but here in GW2 people have been begging to release at least the helmet or shoulders
of outfits so they can use a normal/better helmet or nightfury/wintersday presence on the shoulders.

Its no good. That lower body protection sit a little too high to protect against a decently powered kick.

I don’t think it was made to be functionally defensive anyway.. ice breaks pretty easily

I tried it on with a bunch of different colors….can’t say I really like it that much, Headpiece or no.

It makes me sad cause I like the outfit and it’s rare that I like any of their outfits or armors, but the huge freaky looking piece of cloth on the back ruins it

Ahhhh. The obligatory buttcape makes its appearance again. I can only conclude that ANet is making sure that no one ever leers at my pixel booty. Thanks ANet, I guess.

Now that you mention it, it does have some resemblance to the face grabbing alien from the movie, Alien.

anet really don’t want my money and i’m so eager to give it to them…

You must be thinking of the Karka Helm skin, which actually is a bug stuck to your face. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Karka_Helm_Skin

I’ll buy the outfit if it’s available in the gem shop. It does look nice. Of course, there is the option to hide your helm so you don’t have to have the mask if you don’t want to.

And as usual, female charr and asura get them male version, judging by the screenshots on Dulfy. I want a butt cape for my engineer dagnabbit.

The trenchcoats in the medium armor category and the buttcapes on outfits are out of control. And this is the worst case yet. It’s literally just the female version for Norn and Human (and maybe sylvari) that has the butt cape. The other genders and races Don’t have it at all. Who is making these artistic decisions and just keeps saying “you know what people seem to love… butt capes!” I can assure you, no one loves them. They look stupid. Please mix up your artistic design a little.

That tablecloth on the female version seems totally awkward and out of topic. This outfit would have been great without it.
Likewise, I’m still wondering while they felt the urge to put pajamas below the armor in the male version, while the female’s goes naked under the ice. Just get rid of pajamas, and show some muscle !

Too bad ANet. I liked this one, the icy part is nice, and I’d totally have bought it, if it hadn’t been for all that unnecessary clothing.

Even on an Asura, butt-capes are obnoxious. They block the cute running and jumping animations, and you just look like a little blob.

I might have liked the base outfit, before all the random “ice” was stuck on there with crazy glue. Not enough simple outfits out there.

I actually really like this one. Guess I’ll save my gems to get it when it comes out.

Only ever really had 1 human female toon BUTT I need to declare the cape has to go. Legit. It looks so out of place & awkward; especially on an outfit that is mostly jagged in appearance as opposed to the cape itself which is perfectly unharmed? No torn pieces?

• Remove the butt cape off the female version
• Update the FUGLY face hugger mask to something actually intimidating/intricate or at least a horned helmet of sorts. Just look up an ice dragon/monster mask & imitate the design or SOMETHING. PLEASE.

Rest of the outfit is acceptable; really like the attention to detail on the Charr version. Helmet design completely ruins it, unfortunately.

Psht, the butt cape works great. Don’t take it out ever. I’d like this on the female Asura as well I cannot believe female asura got the male version again. I thought you stopped with that anet. If I want the male version I’ll put it on my male asura.

Yay, another silly looking outfit

I’m starting to think that Anet correlates revenues with severly overdone outfits. Not to say it’s bad but some of these things start looking rather garish.
