Just a really simple idea here: Why not let people change the color of their commander button, making it easy to quickly reference a commander on a map by their color?

Apparently not so simple according to Arena Net. They have been working on this since the BWE’s or shortly thereafter, afaik. Added commander functionality is not something that will “happen overnight” after all.
