I have this wicked idea for a armor campaign preferable some of these sets would be added to the game not just the gem store.

Every 1-2 months for 12months they would release a set of GW1 armor into the game.

1 Heavy
1 Light
1 Medium

They could even turn this into a huge event and have us vote on what we wanted as a campaign to get old GW1 players to come back and give it a try and get some much needed positive hype about the game started.

I might be mistaken but I would think having the basic concepts it wouldn’t take the art team to long to whip up each set of armor.

I like the idea.

I loved many of GW1’s armor sets. Getting them into GW2 would be great.

This is an area where reskinning could be a great monetization approach. Release GW1 armor skins through gameplay but sell reskins in the gem shop.

I’d be in full support of something like this. As long as it’s not any armor sets from HoW, otherwise you will get people complaining about how that would ‘devalue’ their achievements in GW1.

I would accept it.. but only if they tie it to the story and do not use too many effects on them.

The flamekissed just came out of nowhere and had no part in the world so far, which is weird, because everything else so far did so.

As for effects… i know they are cool, but please hold yourself back. Just because you can do them, you do not have to

The Bazaar would have been a great opportunity to reintroduce some of the old Canthan and Elonian sets. That’s what I’ve been thinking for a while.

I also believe that introducing all of them in one go/big batches would be way more exciting. -Say- have a whole LS theme revolve around that ^^.
