Guild Wars 2

So I was just thinking about all the karma, gold, and skill points we are being given and was thinking maybe it is so we are prepared for the new skills/traits they mentioned before they were going to add. It could be that it is going to be expensive. That would certainly drain a good bit of this new wealth.

Anyone else have any ideas on what the goal is with all the new wealth in game?

Well they are planning to add ascended armor as colin stated. + new legendary weapons and new weapons to different classes. In fact it seems that they will be bringing in alot of new items for us to spend our growing wealth on.
