If I equip Colossus can I still use it to make a legendary?

I haven’t tried, but I think it’s safe to say that you can transmute it as long as you keep the stats and not the skin. If you transmute an Aetherblade Hammer skin on Colossus you can still forge it into legendary(losing the aetherblade skin of course). Works the same with back items. If you craft an ascended back item and then transmute a back skin on it, you can still craft the infused version with it losing the transmuted skins in the process.
