I’m definitely up for farming Mordrem Trahearne for daily champ bags. I need more silk, and you know he’s full of that.

I think Traherne (and the pact) are a done deal story wise, but I assume we will get to see Traherne go out in a blaze of glory.

I don’t think he has enough left in him as a character to stay relevant for much longer. He completed his wild hunt, he helped lead the pact to kill zhaitan.

The Pact is problematic from a storytelling perspective (which is why they blew it up before the HoT story) and Traherne is only relevant as our buddy without it.

I think the best sendoff would really be having Traherne die to save us in an epic fashion (not the lazy fashion those other characters died) Something gandalf-and-balrgo level epic, so we can go “yeah man, Traherne, I didn’t like him that much, but he had my back, and that was cool”

Traherne needs to leave the story, permanently, but he needs to do so in a way that virtually forces people to remember him fondly, as that’s how everyone NPC is going to treat the situation and it’s just not effective storytelling when the player can’t empathize with the other actors.

Mordremize that frufru and let us kill him. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. For loot and giggles.

They need to make GW2 a bit more dark. Traherne(and Logan) dies, the pact falls, the races begin infighting and war, all while the dragons continue to rise.

The end is nigh, and it is up to (player)guilds to restore balance, fend off the dragons, or instigate the wars among the races

This scenario would work really well for me. I do all the heavy lifting in the Pact, anyway, so I’d make a terrific Pact marshal.

I would pay real cash to kill trahearne.

Also, if trahearne will be the one who’ll free corrupted sylvari and bring sylvaris unite together becoming a martyr… nope nope nope nope nope.

“strong willed” is not a term I’d immediately jump to to describe Trahearne.

If Trahearne ends up becoming a Mordrem…

Tormenting the souls of the vanquished to power himself, summoning toxic blossoms, deadly thorned vines, and golems of bones and vines intertwined, bringing fear in the heart of its former soldiers.

Honestly, I can see us fighting trahearne and all of destiny’s edge as raid bosses, considering what we know of mordremoth and how he uses people as sort of templates to create his soldiers.

Arenanet please save brother Trahearne. Trahearne becoming a Mordrem is similar to what happened to Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek. The Borg used Jean Luc Picard’s knowledge to destroy Starfleet defenders and kill thousands of people, which is similar to what Mordremoth would do with Trahearne’s knowledge. But if you would look at this scene, you could see that Jean Luc Picard was very remorseful of what happened. Brother Trahearne would have felt the same way if he turns into a Mordrem. Please arenanet, save brother Trahearne. It is inevitable, he will become a Mordrem, but please arenanet save him.

Just because he’s lacking in conviction and doesn’t believe in himself at the beginning doesn’t mean he’s weak willed. He was a developing character and, as much as I hated him, “weak willed” isn’t something I’d use to describe him.
