I just bought the Imperial Outfit from the gemstore after seeing it in peachy’s new video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqmZEnKXjw4)…. Wow anet you have impressed me and my mini steam golem once again, after the raiment of the Lich outfit I though anet wouldn’t be able to top it for me, but the imperial outfit beats all boundaries, it is now my number 1 favoutire outfit in game (I have all gw2 outfits ;P)….

Anyway I wanted to show my character wearing the outfit, it looks phenomenal, btw the hammer is mjolnir (it can’t be seen properly, but looks epic in game)…

I need to use the oufit with incinerator and bifrost, but haven’t have time to take screenshots yet… Any way hope you enjoy

Enjoy? I’ll just see more and more “generics” walking around. I loathe the stupid outfits.

They are coming out with the Rytlock armor with the expansion and there is another set for all 3 armor weights being worked on (as shown by That Shaman’s data searching). Allow the people who like outfits to enjoy them without being the proverbial wet blanket.

Ah, yes, horrible, horrible. It’s so awful that outfits can be worn by every profession, provide looks not possible with piecemeal armor, have minimal clipping problems, and enable you to change your whole look on the fly without having to stock multiple sets of equipment. Just… disgusting, aren’t they?

He’s been updating the new armor sets, and recently too. The last update, medium armor modeled on Asura and Charr, was 9 days ago.

And it’s still no reason to be a wet blanket when someone is posting something they like. Try holding back your own disappointments and try being happy for them maybe,

Such bad clipping with asura females… I’d SO get this for her otherwise. Looks great on all my other toons but the clipping with the headpiece and shoulder mantle REALLY needs to be fixed… it’s atrocious, ESPECIALLY when my asura enters battle stances!

I want my hate for outfits to be heard. I want to buy some real armor skins with mixing value. This is fun for me. Wearing bag-shaped texture on my back without any way of personalizing it is not fun for me. So, because they created outfits because of some loud ppl I don’t even know, I want them to create armors based on similar symptoms.

If arena is going to introduced new armors, that’s cool. But I can’t be excited before they annouce it. You know, polearm… two years ago.

And stop patronizing me.

Yes, good job. Its not the number of sales and how popular outfits are among customers which decide what route their cash shop should take, its your spiteful comments on someone’s happy post adoring something they just acquired.

Not everyone cares for Pole-Arms. I for one couldn’t care less, I guess I should make that apparent and clear on every topic you make, just so my hatred for pole-arms is heard!

Also they don’t make things due to whining, despite popular belief, they do it based on how popular they think an item will be and how well it will sell. Anet is a business, not a big brother who does what you want if you keep shouting at him enough.

By the looks of it, they were right, at least with the volume I see players using them in, outfits far outsell armor skins. Most likely because they are a one off purchase that is account bound that can be used forever with any character.

Oh and for the record, I don’t like most outfits, I prefer armor skins for mix and matching. (Literally not a single set on any of my 13 characters isn’t mix and match.) I still think you’re being silly.

It seems some people like outfits, while some don’t and prefer new armor skins. So… I propose ArenaNet make some of both options.

More of both, because despite what some people on these forums would like to delude themselves into thinking, Anet has made quite a few of both.

And has it ever occurred to you that maybe, just maybe, there are people that have a different taste than you? I like outfits, so I buy them. If you don’t like them, then don’t buy them and stop whining.
