I know, this is not a new topic, and has been asked for many times, but i need to address it again:

As i am constantly switching weapons, also from 1-handed to 2-handed, i am

getting mad at my inventory becoming a mess. It can become very confusing,

if you have not much time for the weapon-switch (upcoming fight).

The problem is when switching from 1-handed to 2-handed, that your

mainhand-weapon will take the place of your 2-handed weapon in inventory and

the offhand-weapon will take the first free slot in it. Preferably at the

very end, where your loot is.

Right now, i am using the hero panel for weapon switching, but this window

is so huge, it covers a big amount of the monitor and you canĀ“t resize it. I

would prefer to have it always open.

To become weapon-switching less annoying i would like to suggest …:

- Make a 20-slot bag in that every item has its one and only place. If you

equip a weapon out of this bag the place stays free, until you de-epuip it.

or at least:

- Make the hero-panel resizable (or add a smaller version like the trait-/

build-panel in pvp) and let the “weapon”-filter show main-hand AND off-hand

at the same time. Otherwise you have to make another annoying click on the offhand-weapon to switch the “weapon”-filter.

or at very least:

- Make a “20 Slot Fractal Exotic AND ASCENDED Equipment Box”, so you can equip one of it at the bottom of your inventory. Then you can leave some space free in it and your offhand-weapon will be sorted in the same Box as your other weapons. So you just have to deal with exotic/ ascended loot in this box, but that would be a very rare situation. ;-)

Or has anyone found a workaround for this problem?

This is why elementalists have been asking for out of combat weapon swap for 2 years.

I once sold by accident a 50g dagger because they went down in my inventory and I had a lag spike while I was selling. Anet never wanted to give me the item back because I only noticed the following day when login in.

Would an equipment bag help in this case, looted weapons and armor go there first, would swapped weapons go there as well?

Even if this works it is still kind of a lame workaround as you would still be selling the other weapons you just naturally looted from the same bag, and I guess if it filled up then your swapped weapon(s) could end up anywhere again.

Probably best to ignore this post…

Have the same problem myself. I wish their was a way to mark an item so it wouldn’t show up in the sales list, I first saw this in Borderlands 2. I know the have specific boxes/bags for this but when I get to the point where my entire bag if filled I have to manually move everything out of that bag to a different bag and then sell it.

What they could do is: keep all your weapons in your inventory, wether they’re equipped or not.

After that you can keep them easily in place by some invisible bag, or my suggestion: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Suggestion-Sticky-Inventory/first#post4683291
