Guild Wars 2

Hello! I am a guild leader and really enjoy playing games/contests/events with my guild. I was just wondering if people could share with me what they do with their guilds. I’ll start and hopefully this sharing can help mine and other guilds expand their ideas on stuff they can do for fun!

On the forums:
- We host Screenshot Contests.
- We play a photo hunt, where they must find where I took a screenshot @ and duplicate it.

In-Game Games:
- We had a fun game of hide-and-seek in Divinity’s one evening.
- Guild Wars Trivia. Put your lore knowledge to the test!
- Guild party w/ Boxes o’ fun, banners and banquet.

In-Game Events:
- WvW Nights
- Map Completion Nights
- Dungeon Nights
- DE Farming Nights

Own the map night:

Done a few of these with the guild and they’re a ton of fun. Basically, we visit an otherwise deserted map (Fireheart Rise, Malchor’s Leap, etc) that’s heavily contested and begin the process of un-contesting every waypoint. Banners get spawned multiple times along the way and we really try to get the whole map involved, getting DEs to complete that are frequently never done.

Foot Race:
Everyone starts at the same point, and runs over land to a point 2-3 zones away. Waypointing is not allowed and if you die, you’re out. Works best for guildies that have been around for a while because there’s a trust factor in saying ‘no waypointing.’
