I did a search and didn’t see a topic on this elsewhere, maybe I don’t know how to search? Anyways, map chat in Heart of the Mists brought up how Team Queues were removed after player polling on the forums, and I thought not everyone goes to the forums so I thought of a solution:
Have ANET poll players via in-game mail. Each account when logged on could receive a poll via mail on things like whether to remove Team queue and that way more people would be included.
Maybe even offer incentives such kitten silver for completing the poll. A few problems I do see though is people could have multiple accounts, or people could just fill the poll mindlessly for the reward (I guess no incentive then?).
What do you all think? I think it’d be a cool way to interact while in-game, in a breaking-the-fourth wall fashion.

The polls would have probably been rigged anyway like the stupid Cutthroat Politics.

Active WvW players were informed via in-game mail that there were polls occurring.

Iirc, if you play the mode enough, you get an in game mail about any active polls occuring (which then filters players who actually take part in that particular game mode to vote for any changes), it’s then upto the player if they wish to take part in it.
