Let’s keep this civil…

I don’t really use the forum to focus any points I have because usually they aren’t valid but to be very honest I’m sick of being quiet and reading what players are putting that should be in the game in the future/already.

For the past few days we have all enjoyed the little “freebies” that you, the Devs have released to us in-game. The reason for this post is… why aren’t you guys continuing such a thing on a monthly basis?

Like I said, let’s keep this as civil as possible because this is actually a good point. We all enjoy the use of Transmute Charges, Bank Expresses and the odd use of Trade Post Expresses when and where we need but why is it always those particular items given for free? Why not in 1 month, you give away a free outfit to the players, in another a key, in another a primer, in another a mini-pet bundle, in another a dye kit.. you get my point!

I really enjoy this game but it’s getting repetitive and that’s exactly what WoW is, a repetitive video game so why don’t you in the Development Teams.. give us players something to look forward to each month, you’re a fantastic Dev team but (don’t take this the wrong way) you have so much imagination but you lack the use of it. Do something that wins players over, it’s not as if you’re losing cash by setting something free in the gem-store for a day or two for players to access.

Feel free to express your opinions guys.

I am all about free stuff, but Anet need to make money some how. They offer sales frequently, and there is already a way of obtaining items for free: use in-game currency. Sure, gems are expensive now, but that’s to be expected by the influx of players. Save up some gold, and wait for the population to go quiet, and in turn, the prices of gems will go down as well.

EDIT: Also, lets not forget that GW2 rewards you just for logging in every day. every WEEK you get a free Black Lion Goods Chest. Sure, getting outfits or make-over kits is very rare, but it still provides a lot of commonly used consumables. I have never bought transmutation charges (I have 80 stockpiled just from the daily), or mystic forge stones, or instant bank access, ect. All of those I have PLENTY of just from signing in every day.
