Guild Wars 2

I’m trying to find a good season 1 recap video that is very detailed including stuff from the molten alliance.

I have a friend who just joined the game and is about to head into the 2nd half of season 2 and I’d like for him to have the jist of everything that is going down

first half of season 2 recap would be a sweet bonus too if there is one

most of the videos i’ve been finding start around dragon’s bash and the aetherblades and aren’t very detailed

I wish Guild Wars 2 would come out with an official video themselves and put it in the living story journal. They could refer to the player as “a hero” or “the hero” ie “a hero rose up to defeat Scarlet bla bla bla” and it can just be implied that your character is that hero. That way when a new player just starts getting into the living story season 2 they won’t be hopelessly lost when some random chick named Marjory runs up and starts talking to them like they’ve been buddies for years or something. I understand the video would have to be kind of longish but the story leap is probably throwing off more than a few newbies. I feel like making such a video would be worth it.

it’s a little rough though with someone new coming to the game not having played GW1 and not knowing the lore very much, but i’m trying to explain the best i can

I never played the original Guild Wars. But I have fallen in love with the world. I am sure once giving the game a chance, anyone that enjoys rich worlds, will like this game.
