Guild Wars 2

I’m stuck on Sea of Sorrows but my friend’s guild is Sanctum of Ray. Is it true none of the influence I have goes to them, that the upgrades are different, and people who guest on their server do not get guild commendations? Is there any plans to fix this? I feel like it’s useless being on a cross-server guild…

no you have the option of spending thousands of gold to unlock it via buying influence(note this will only be on the 1 server as well). the bounties have been completed with less then 10 skilled players.

However, for one final kick in the kitten we have to play on our home server too to get a commendation for the Ascended items? Or is that just a rumor?

why would this be a problem?

you had how long to move to a sever you were happy with for guild/friends?

its been staited your home seer is were you can reap all rewards for guild and WvW.
guild system has always been sever bound for rewards even befor guesting if you didnt realise back then you were not getting any influance your either blind or chose the wrong guild

even if you just started the game surely you would have throught about which sever you wanted to join to be with your friends?
