I plan on infusing my Sights Be True, and I was wondering if I put an offensive infusion gem(?) would it linger on to my infused SBT

You get back a UN-soulbound ( but still account bound item ) with an empty slot. ( you lose the “slotted” infusion )
But as a bonus you can now re-use this new item on any Toon.
you will then need to put on a new infusion.
