ANet did succeed at one thing. This did bridge the gap between legendaries and ascended. A fine infusion takes 70% of the time of a legendary!

I’m very curious as to how much “+5 resist agony” actually is.

If it’s as worthless as +5 condition damage… we have a problem.

I’ve just tried this, the correct recipe is:
1 Eldritch Scroll, 20 Mystic Coin, 250 Passion Fruits, 100 Powerful Venom Sacs
and it produced a “Malign Infusion”
the stats are however the same as you’ve listed

Well great, I’m just going to have a 1x bigger diameter easier time pooping tonight instead of a 2.5×. . . Great.

What I’d like to see is if there’s any alternative ways to get the Ascended gear, other than doing the dungeon. :-|

At this point one should assume the exotic infusions. Wait no, the ascended infusions will cost 5 bloodstone shards each XD

5 agony resistance means you now only take half of the agony damage ( 50% ) I could imagine the 10 agony resistance being something in the ways of 75% damage reduction.
