There needs to be new ways to set up difficulty in GW2, and The Marionette has started the engine on how this can be achieved.

With the way the triple lane system works for both the Marionette and the Silverwastes makes it so it is a near pseudo-instanced area where a small team can help accomplish a goal that effects the open world.

Unfortunately, it becomes difficult to manage how the players can access it. You can have all players allowed, and try to balance around scaling the enemies, or limit it to only letting a certain amount of players in and balancing around the amount of players set (unfortunately leaving some players behind)

This can be advanced slightly by allowing all players to participate AND have selective choice by having areas that players will queue to enter with their party, and with every success of the objective adds to a tally that when completed will progress to the next phase of the event.

Players who want to challenge the team-content can do so, and the solo players can participate in the standard meta-event/event setup that is currently available.
