So I just finished 100%ing Malchor’s Leap, and lo and behold the mats I received were 20, not 40, 20 Lemongrass. My friend who was with me received 40 Orichalcum. I know it’s random chance, and he got very lucky, but seriously – not only am I getting complete crap cooking mats, I get half of the amount??? The current value of Lemongrass is ~15 copper, so I received about 3 silver for a level 75-80 zone. I would seriously rather receive nothing at all; that’s just insulting. Why are cooking mats even a zone reward, and more importantly, why do you get half the amount?

20 not 40 seems to be a bug. But other than that, you have no reason for complaints.

Cooking mats are often half of other mats. Right from the beginning, you buy stacks of 100 picks, 100 axes, or 50 sickles.

As long as I get money and xp and possibly transmute stones, I couldn’t care less what mats I get- it’s all going on the trade post anyway.

Yep 3 silver or 1.2 gold – who cares? I sure don’t.

The 1 copper for 100% Lion’s Arch was… amusing. At least give us enough to use a waypoint!

1 copper rewards have been removed. Early in the game I got it too.

As for your bad reward, I feel for you.

I got lucky with mine and got 80 gossamer and 80 orich from completing all 3 Orr Zones and Frostgorge Sound. Lucky me I guess.
