The combat system is far cleaner for the melee and some of the scaling downwards is more balanced towards having effects help each other.

There are bunch of changes to the character models and bunch of extra npc models for what ever reason.

The story focuses on making the player center stage when the npc ask what to do but it is a choice of what npc a or npc b wants to do, mostly cosmetically the same thing as before. Again there are dozen of reasons likely why this is but that is speculation.

There are some weird alt tab glitches where the client swaps to the desktop while still running. I think this happened before but it was years ago.

NPC conversations are more like lets go out have beer, instead of the old style of lets go save the world.

A couple classes picked up weapons they could not use.

Culture bit most can ignore, just for the developers that have lost any money from me, a culture that can not be mocked is weak. A culture that is be targeted by people who can not even speak the language but it is different but then to choice to make it something it is not means that is cheap method to cover for a lack of creativeness. If you don’t respect a culture that is not your own take five minutes of your precious time from your free time after five oclock hits and say what would I think if some one spent thousands of dollars to say your name plus kitten for what four years running now?
I am Norwegian and Irish by parentage and American by dint of being born on American soil and I have seen more and more bitter developers try to make the Scandinavians something that never were. I can not understand what the hate is coming from but seriously what is wrong with you people?

Did not get to the desert since the story start with eir being dead and I am not consoling a wolf, it is an animal. Games are meant to be fun not run some human league agenda. Fact not opinion. Well hopefully all the people that made the games great before make enough money off this game despite the agenda or find jobs at other companies making great games. The agenda’s of a couple weirdos should not harm the hard work of a company like Arena Net. Oh and most of Scandinavian is too cold for most animals, blame the bushmen of Australia.

TiL that the bushmen of Australia are to blame for Scandinavia being too cold for most animals.

It’s amazing the info trivia one can pick up from the internet.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

I think I see what the OP is getting at…nope, my mistake.

Clearly he doesn’t like the direction the game has gone in. Well maybe not so clearly. An extemporaneous and esoteric critique.

This is what happens when you eat food with Bloodstone in it. Isn’t it.

Norn culture doesn’t really remind me of Scandinavian culture much. I’m pretty sure it was not intended to. Norn remind me more of a cross between: Dungeons and Dragons dwarves who live outdoors and have tall solid bodies rather than short solid bodies; and some generic shamanic tribal culture.

Deciding not to comfort Garm, well, that’s fine, I guess. I’m OK with it, though. The story makes me do a lot of things I would not choose to do given a choice, like hang with Braham. Or Rox. I used to think that way about Taimi, but she has turned into a fungus and grown on me.

I thought they were Norn, a race from Tyria. I don’t know where you get Scandanavian from Earth. Got me puzzled. I was like … WTF

EDIT: Also, OP are you making a review/Feedback for HoT and LS3?

I am not sure I understand what you have written OP but I will try too.

What you are upset about but I think it is becouse HoT Spoiler -> Eir dies but first of all End of HoT spoiler ->Treherne dies too so Eir is not the only one to die.

Now, I am Swedish and I just love how Norn has the Nordic feel to it and a nordic name for my Norn is a must. But first of all, I know that this is a game and Norn are not a race on Earth and they may have Nordic names but they are not Swedish, Norweigan, Danish or any other Nordic human. They are Norn in a fantasy world.

Alot of characters dies in GW2 and they belong to all different races and racist or hate any kind of race just becouse they decides to finnish of someone in the story.

Now I may have been totally off but I tried to understand the post and give an answer from my opinion.
