Introduction of Item Sets or Builds?
It’s a common request here, too. That we might start needing more than just zerk builds in PvE makes it even more desirable.
So given how equipment works, how are you thinking this would function for armor/weapons?
I was thinking it would be like, you buy a build swap slot from the gem store and put your gear in there?
This wouldn’t be too different from how GW1 had the gear bag slot you could earn with Zaishen coins.
Hi,
this has been asked many times before, and got discouraging answers in return. But with the coming of HoT – can we hope again that we wont have to manually change gear/traits/utilities/etc?
I just want to keep this thing alive in hopes of finding a solution finally. If the devs wont do it, at least allow the use of third party softwares. (Actually such things do exist, but I didnt risk using them.)
Spec templates was a feature RIFT had that I really enjoyed. I played Cleric in Rift so I could hit a macro and instantly switch my spec and gear with a single button push. Loved it. I could go from tanking to healer to dps in a single macro.
I don’t think we’re getting templates soon but I agree, let’s keep hope alive.
I think this is one of these things they are aware of and want to add at some point but just got pushed down a list of things with a higher priority. I think we will get it at some point though, especially now that raiding is coming and it will be even more requested.
Gw1 had templates and I had several for each spec back then…
Gw2 has or will have PvP, PvE, WvW, Raids, JP’s, WB’s, and you can always Roam in WvW all of which could easily fill a different template.
Templates at launch would have been nice but since launch we’ve had added modes and legendaries with changeable stats so at this point a template system isn’t something that people want it’s rather something that we need.
Totally agree with this post.
I asked about it some time ago but I received no answer.
I really hope that the devs will answer this call ..at least with a " no we’re not planning to implement this thing"
