Can we please add an “Are you Sure” to that inventory option to this? i can’t count the number of times my inventory gets screwed, cause it was right next to the auto deposit button….

A few times a month I’ll hear my wife exclaim “kitten!” and I know she hit that button by mistake again.

Its a feature I doubt anyone would miss if it were removed.

Well, that’s what special bags are for (invisible bags etc.). Items in them do not get sorted.

As someone who likes to keep everything on top of my inventory, I really do Not want this. Right now I just simply deposit all materials, then compact inventory, within 2 buttons.

I keep using it all the time so I prefer not having to go through another confirmation window. just be careful.

Another annoying one is the Remember password checkbox above LOG IN. If you can separate them a bit more that’d help a lot.

I kept changing it and forgot about it (yeah I should remember it but to make it more secure I made it real hard to guess) so have to reset it as I accidentally uncheck the box.

Buy invisible bags. Buy fractal bags if you’re cheap. Slow down.

Last thing we need is another kittening confirmation button.

I am fairly cautious, but sometimes I accidentally hit this button and then need to spend time rearranging inventory back to how I want it. Thus, I can see a benefit for having some sort of extra confirmation. I can also understand why people who use it a lot may not want that pop-up.

An option setting to allow this button to function with/without confirmation might be a solution.

No, no more confirmation windows.

I do wish that it was a sort button that sorted the inventory in addition to compacting it.

This is why I now keep a lot of valuable items in an oiled bag (which is for auto-sorting junk). I found out a while ago that it stops them being moved when you click ‘compact’.

I never use compact on purpose but I got fed up with clicking it by accident and rearranged my entire inventory system to work around this feature.

They just need to reorder the list so compact is last and deposit materials is first. The show rarity and show new items are not used very often and could be placed as a buffer between compact and more popular selections.

Or just create a “deposit all” button right next to the little gear icon, as that is what most people are opening that menu for.

A tip – always put at least one invisible bag last in your inventory, then store all your stock stuff there (extra weapons, food, items, shovels, keys, obligatory quaggan potion, etc).

(you can put it first too, but IMO its easier to have the constantly shifting loot/salvage bags first).

I compact things a lot, I use invisible bag in last slot. I do not want another kitten ed are you sure box. If one is added I insist there is an option to not have it.

Doesn’t need to be removed as people use it.

HOWEVER, they could move it to the last item in the drop down list so people don’t mistake my click it.

I agree with putting Deposit at the top, Compact at the bottom (or the other way around) and the 3 Hide options in the middle.

Accidentally clicking one of the hide options doesn’t really matter because it’s easy to fix compared to accidentally hitting Compact or Deposit.
