Too much of this game is now inventory management. Please, ANET, consider moving all the map key items to account counters without “physical form.” Exalted keys, Chak acid, Pact crowbars, on and on. Why do we need to use space for these things? Also the map currencies — do we really need to carry the bloodstone shards, petrified wood and the new winterberries? Make space for them somewhere. And omg tokens. The only reason to receive a collection token is if you need to do something with it like “charge” it or “infuse” it or combine it or w/e. Otherwise a simple ding with no drop would suffice. It would also clear up the problem of being uncertain if you need the token later. And (account-bound) skins. Just make them counters in the wardrobe. I know your business model is “players pay for space,” but I find my enjoyment of the game reduced by all the STUFF I now have to manage.

I agree it would be helpful if they would add storage in the wallet or something similar for all the different keys, but Anet have said several times it’s not going to happen. I have no idea why, and as far as I know they haven’t elaborated on it but it seemed pretty definite.

Blood rubies, petrified wood and winterberries are tricky because they’re not just a currency, they’re also salvageable and I think they can be used in crafting recipes too. As long as there’s not too many of them I don’t mind them staying in the inventory.

I’m not sure what you mean by tokens and wardrobe skins already do go straight into the wardrobe. If it’s an item then it’s equipment (even if it also unlocks the skin in the wardrobe) and needs to go in your inventory.

Constantly full inventories, overpriced account-shared slots (I refused to buy any for that price) and items that you can get tens of thousands of but only stack them up to 1000 have contributed to the fact that I am currently not playing GW2. The longer I played the more items were added to the game but the inventory did not grow accordingly, making inventory organizing more and more tedious.

There’re specific items that “only have value if they belong to a collection” which stack in the inventory.

As for wardrobe skins, I remember some masks or luminescent skins or others that you get, can unlock, but still remain in your inventory as a “free of charge skin”. It would indeed be better to be able to cast them to wardrobe. The easiest way of doing so is to allow the skin to be consumed when unlocked, and add 1 transmutation charge in the process.
