I was wondering if Anet treated the investors the same way they deal with their customers and refuse to relate any business plans.

Edit: On second thought, I doubt the investors don’t care what the game becomes as long as it makes money. so just ignore this post.

Do you really need to know how google handles customer relations to want to invest in them?
Personally, I would look at products they offer and judge if I think those are successful or not.

Clever post, TC, but it’s going to go over a lot of heads.

Firstly Anet is a wholly owned subsidiary of NCSoft, so they don’t have their own investors. As other people have said they probably don’t care about the details of each individual game, just how it’s doing overall.

Hell, I work for an organisation with just 35 employees and even then we’re always being told to keep the quarterly report as short as possible, that the board doesn’t want to know every project we’re working on, just how we’re doing against our key targets.

I suspect if Anet tried to explains all the balance changes or the plot of the latest Living Story arc it’d go totally over most their investors heads.
