I’ve tried the Join Solo button in PvP for tournaments, but I wait for hours and it fails to make me join a tournament.

I didn’t had to wait so long before this feature when submiting uncomplete parties for the tournament.

Is this because of the new tier-balance system or something? The button seems to be completly broken (and at least 2 times I’ve had a full 5 players roster ready when using it for quite a long time and we were never asked to join the tournament for some reason).

Is it bugged or intented to work like this?

I don’t know if it’s working as intended since I don’t know “how” it’s supposed to be working, but I can tell you my experience with it.

I click “Join solo” and 8/10 times, it pops me into a solo party, after about 1-2 minutes MAX, that fills to five, and within a minute after that, I get the “join” button for the game. This is vastly different from before the patch, where I could go through the motions of creating a roster, solo, and wait an eternity, and never get in to a full party, or if I did, never get matched up with a team (paid or unpaid). I believe, in part, the reason is due to an influx of new players.

The other 2/10 of the time I get a network error button, some coded message, and the join solo failed. I click it again, once or twice, and it works.

I have never had the experience you are describing. I’m “only” rank 20, though, (gone from 19 to 20 since the patch), so as for tier balancing, I can’t speak to what you would think should be going on. If you’re really above or below me — I consider myself in the middle, from what I’ve seen in regular spvp matches.

thanks for the reply, I’m not high rank but I’ve been failing to connect properly.

I will try tomorrow noon and check if it has more to do with people in my time frame being in bed (the 2 days I tried it it was too late) and it only pairing you with them.

The time I’ve been doing the tourneys has been both Tues/Wed at the 4pm – 7pm pacific timeframe. I don’t know if there will be better or worse luck at other times yet.

There is current a bug with the ‘Join Solo’ button where it does not properly submit your roster during times of high latency. We intend on hotfixing this in our next patch.

That is clearly not the ONLY bug on the “Join solo” system but hey, at least something is getting fixed.

Evan, I know this seems like an out of place question:

Who would I attempt to contact in regards to Warrior class changes?

Example: If I wanted to know if anything was potentially in the pipeline for Banner changes etc.

But seriously, some info would be nice.

Ok I joined today at an hour were most people in my timeframe were playing and out of bed and it worked perfectly as intended.

Probably it had to do with me playing very late when I first tried it, thanks for answering Tyler!
