While running around, I’ve noticed that my Meteorlogius looks different from everyone else’s. It was pointed out to me by another player today. In the attachment, you can see that the one on the left is much more purple. I also have retained the blue and purple trail. Has Anet said anything about this? From the reactions I’m getting, this is how people would prefer their Meteorlogicus to look. Which do you think looks better?

I am that guardian and yes, I’m jealous. I hope ArenaNet uses his model. It looks fantastic and has the trail, too! Mine has bugged like this a few times, as well.

I was so happy when i saw the trail on my meteorlogicus – i loved anet for bringing it back…. then i switched the map and the trail was gone again <.<

Anet pls…. bring the trail back…

Oh, hey Dilla. I forgot to turn the UI off when taking pics, so I hope you don’t mind your name in there! I don’t think my Meteorlogicus has ever been purple at night, though the trail has disappeared a few times. I hope my legendary is never “fixed” haha.

Everyone has this bug. It happens everytime when you log in while at night. In this occasion, the night (purple) and day (blue) glowings are merged and you can also see the trail. But when u pull out your weapons, the bug gets lost; the weapon now glows just purple and the trail disappears.

I’m fairly sure it’s at least somewhat bugged. You can actually get the glow back at any time providing it’s night time by unequipping and re-equipping it, but as others have said, as soon as you draw the weapon for combat it vanishes. It’s such a shame because I really think it looks perfect when that glow and trail is there, and honestly it’s put me off logging into the game because of how disjointed it feels now.

Sadly this is going to be very low on anet’s list of priorities / not on it at all. Look how long it took to revamp the appearance of these legendaries in the first place – and even then that came with a significant stats overhaul. Don’t expect to see the back of this bug, not for a long, long time.
