Guild Wars 2

Been trying to get this map done and I have seen one player the whole time. It is empty of all players on my server and when a group event spawns between you and a skill challenge you can forget waiting for others to show up. Been two days and no one has showed up for Assault on Fort Cadence event.

just guest to a different server and get it done there.

How many people we need for that? Maybe I can scrounge up some more Guildies/peeps and you can guest on Anvil Rock (if your NorthAmerica server). I will gladly try to help you man

I have 8 characters (one for each profession). I would like an actually fix to the game and never done guesting.

This the one at the top right side of the map, correct? Can’t you run through the building? (fall down each level to the right once you go into it) Or are you having a problem with the skill event itself? If its the one I’m thinking, you have to kill the person who thinks they’re a ghost (or something like that).

Also, another option is you could always bring a bunch of ash legion/whisper spy kits and stealth your way down to it.

Yep that is the skill event, gave up on the group event ran through it and ran down the stairs to get the skill. The skill is not the problem, the problem is group events can not be completed due to the fact that no other person is on the map. Tried guesting to two other servers only to find the same group events going on and no one doing them.

That map has tequatl. Look at the timer and when the dragon is almost done (not before) ask in chat for help. You will have lots of help.

But if you’re having trouble with the event to take the Ash Horizon down, you don’t have to use the siege equipment, you can swim out there and hit it with your underwater skills. I’ve taken it down before that way since siege stuff keeps being destroyed.

Sparkfly is notorious for being empty (except for the lousy dragon event). I leveled a sylvari, and didn’t even realize that sparkfly fen was a map until two months after game launch.

Sparkfly is one of my favourite maps and I do it on all my characters, if you are on a Eu server, try Gunnar’s Hold. I have always run into people on that event

There is little point in wasting time with the Ash Horizon just for the skill point. The follow up to retake Fort Cadence is not hard but easy to fail because as usual the NPCs are weak and made of tissue paper. It is fairly easy to reach from the south or the east.
