Yesterday i was in WvW with my party and we were going on our way to the keep and then seen 1 enemy hiding behind rocks we ataked him from all sides so he would not run awey and start hiting him when he was about to fall on the ground on 10 % hp he just vanished .
So i wanted to ask ppl is that some sort of teleport long distance hack because that was not normal teleport skill enemy was immobilized he couldent get awey , and its not first time thats happening i encountered few times such enemies that just geting awey like this .

He probably logged out.

Sounds like he logged out to character select or just hit alt f4 if he or the others do not have a stealth skill.

There is a teleport hack, but that doesn’t mean that’s what it was. However if he was going to use that hack then there were other hacks he would have been using instead. So to me it makes it slightly unreasonable that he was using a hack.

I don’t hack by the way I just like to know whats going on in the game, since Anet never gives us patch notes on what exploits they’ve patched and whats still left.

Then it’s rather easy to escape.

Ya Id put my money on an ability there so many ways to escape especially for theives and mesmers.

first he was not thief and not mesmer he had heavy armor and second if he would use stealth with 10% hp left aoe would finish him off and even if he would survive he couldent run awey to far awey someone from party should see him on the map from distance like he runing awey when stealth runs out

He ragequit to avoid getting killed.

Alt-F4 is such a wonderful escape skill…

I do that very often.

When there’s almost no one on the map, and a group of 10 ennemies just try to kill you while you are trying to join your allies, well, I just log out/in and I come back in WvW.
No damage repair, and I assure you that it is raging when you’re target is disconnecting and you get no loot.

Rune of Infiltration gives you stealth when your hitpoints are 10%. But it only lasts a few seconds, and you’d see him running away unless he went around a corner.

I saw someone in PvP seeming to get around the map way too fast. They kill me at one point, I respawn and they’re right there to greet me at the closer capture point. I kill them and they’re almost instantly back after their waypoint. I feel like PvP and WvW are so shady, that there are cheaters, and it makes me not want to bother competing.

Yeah sounds like he logged out. Its a cowardly and childish behavior frankly and only those so called PvPers from the modern age (WoW-kiddies) would probably do it. Long term PvPers tend to take it like a man and deal with the loss.

Doesnt sound like a hack.. just a log.
