Is changing MF for bags possible in pve?
Perhaps, this would be better served by posting in Dolyak Express? Might get an answer there. =)
I should hope not. PvErs get like…… 15403209842092834092384 million times more drops than PvPers will in this update.
I made SIX GOLD in T6 drops in 45ish minutes of farming earlier.
Edit: With 97% MF.

In the Ready Up earlier today it was mentioned that MF will effect the drops from boxes in the new reward tracks. Will this change be brought over to PvE? If not can you tell us if it’s a technical limitation or a design decision?
I take it you’d be surprised to know that magic find has always affected some PvE chests?
Its a multiplier to a hidden RNG-cascade. How would you ever know?
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

It actually doesn’t. Magic find currently only affects the drop itself, not what comes from and kind of bags (whether it be a champ bag, loot bag, etc). Source: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Magic_find
As for the OP, I doubt it. They have reduced the raw gold from champion bags quite a bit and have even changed some of the respawn timers on champions in Frostgorge Sound. Its pretty clear Anet doesn’t like people farming the champions as much as they do but feel its not really worth removing altogether…probably because it would cause a huge uproar among the community.

Thanks, forgot about that thread.
