Is crafting the fastest way to level?
If you have any glory saved up you can cash it in for Tomes that give 1 level each. 1500 glory per.

Is glory from wvw or pvp? I don’t have any, haven’t played either yet.
Glory is from PVP – and I think it’s going away soon. Spend it now if you have it, and don’t plan on getting lots if you don’t.
Crafting is still the fastest way to level, as long as money is no object. There’s one important thing to keep in mind, however: with the advent of ascended crafting, the amount of character XP you get is spread out more. Skilling up to 500 will net you 10 character levels, while skilling up to 400 only gets you 8 (? I think?). What’s more, Cooking and Jewelcrafting still only go up to 400, but give you character XP at the same rate as the other craftskills. Ultimately it means you can’t level a brand-new character to 80 solely through crafting, like you could before ascended crafting was introduced. And it’ll be very expensive, requiring a lot of exotic crafting at the upper end.
Crafting is by far the quickest way to level. It can cost quite a bit of gold.
I’d argue crafting isnt nearly as effective as it used to be and that WvW leveling is actually faster, pending your server and its WvW activity.

You can level in a few hours with crafting.
I have about 120 g and the char. I’m going level is already at 30 how much money do I think it would cost?
Technically, buying BL keys and buying thousands of BL chests is the faster way, but I’m sure that would cause you to go into real life debt.
Crafting is your best bet. You can craft all professions in 6 hours, giving you between 48 to 56 levels.

Only if you have the cash or gold to invest in doing so….
Crafting used to give 10 levels for going from 1 – 400. Then ascended crafting was released and now you only get 7 levels for getting to 400 (even for jewelcrafting/cooking).
If you do all 8 professions, you’ll gain 56 levels.
Cooking is by far the least expensive (all of my alts get cooking for a level boost). Artificing is also often cheaper than other crafting professions.

The fastest way to level is just by playing the game normally and doing every single dynamic event, personal story and heaert quest, while you are exploring the maps and making all the skill challenges.
This all while using Exp Boosters from the Shop/Chests and those from Laurels.
There is no faster way of leveling characters, than this, which doesn’t require of you first either tons of gold, or real money and lots of preparations first.
its the only way how you can level up fast, without havign to spend gold for something, instead you make gold when ypou explore all the maps on the way to 100%
Crafting is just only an option, if you have already leveled up a character with that you can make quick gold so that you can buy with that character easily all the materials you need to bring your alts from 0-80 only with crafting from all the bought materials.
Go to gw2crafts.net. Choose the fast way. With about 100g spent you’ll be level 80 in about 4 hours. I’ve done it twice.
Don’t even listen to people that say playing the game normally is the fastest way to level. Even with boosters there is no way, EVER, you’ll reach 80 levels in 4 hours. If you play non-stop maybe 4 days.

Only if you level all crafting professions… and honestly, most people don’t have the desire to do that and even then you wont hit 80.
Doing some crafting is a good way to accelerate leveling, especially after your first character, when you’ve built some inventory of materials. If you do 2 skills, you might gain up to 20 levels.

That’s what I’m trying to do I already leveled a warrior, guardian and ranger that way( doing all map completion) but I don’t feel like going through all that again at this point.

This is quite a bold, absolute statement. It’s also wrong as being the only fast way outside of crafting. You are implying PvE content and ignoring another large part of the game.
I levelled my last character from 1-80 in 74 hours worth of playtime entirely in WvW, with no boosters of any kind. I spent very little only in upgrading gear every so often.
if you have the gold and the materials ready, crafting is a quick way to level. pretty expensive though, because you lose money.
i already have a lot of mats from my main, so i recently levelled a thief over a few hours:
1 → 20: XP scroll (from “birthday” gifts)
20 → 70: crafting (www.gw2crafts.net for cooking 400, artificer 500, leatherworker 500, weaponsmith 500 with crafting booster [on thursday for artisan wvw buff])
70 → 80: tome of knowledge (from pvp rewards vendor)
At low levels WvW XP is scaled down too much. A player can run through a zone without killing anything and soak up as much experience in many cases.

Doing the first part of the personal story is good for about 5 levels past 60. It is quick and the first time through with each race has some decent achievement points. Also unlocks an armor set for each of the three group paths and gives a few Black Lion keys.

Is this confirmed? – so is it a case of stock up and use it while you can kind of a thing??

How that? I don’t remember that you get exp from opening them. Do they drop exp-scrolls or something?

Glory is going away. However, Anet stated they give us ample warning before it does. It’s not going to happen until the next huge pvp update, and that’s not for some months.
